Manager Data Management Office
General Summary
Manage functioning of Data Management office in-line with Organization vision. To support ES’s Short and Long-term corporate objectives by leading the implementation data governance frameworks, overseeing the implementation of data initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment, monitoring compliance, and resolving data governance issues. implementation of data management policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring data is accurate, accessible, and secure.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Key Accountabilities)
- Oversee Implementation of Data Governance and Management Initiatives: Lead the implementation of data governance and management initiatives and activities across the ESA Group, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
- Ensure Strategic Alignment and Prioritization: Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment, prioritization, budgeting, and timely delivery of data governance and management initiatives within the Group.
- Reporting and Monitoring: Report progress on data governance and management initiatives to the Data Governance Council, providing regular updates and monitoring milestones and KPIs to ensure accountability and transparency.
- Develop and Update Data Strategy: Develop and periodically update the data strategy and data management implementation plans for ESA, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and aligning with evolving business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor Compliance: Monitor compliance with data management policies and processes in ESA, conducting regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Resolve Data Governance Issues: Act as a point of escalation for resolving data governance issues within ESA and across the group, collaborating with cross-functional teams to address challenges and drive continuous improvement.
- Design Change Management Programs: Design and implement change management programs to operationalize effective data governance and management practices within ESA, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and accountability.
- Setup Data Management Office to provide an oversight to the implementation of tools and enrichment and master data management etc.
- Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs to educate ESA staff on data governance policies, practices, and their roles in maintaining data integrity.
- Technology Integration: Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data governance and management tools and technologies are properly integrated and utilized within the organization.

- Strong understanding of data governance and management frameworks, principles, and best practices, with experience in developing and implementing data strategies and policies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, analyze data, and develop actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of best practices in data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing.
- Proven experience in data governance, data management, or related roles, with a track record of successful project delivery and stakeholder management.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement data strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Experience in establishing and maintaining data standards, policies, and procedures.
- Experience in stakeholder management, including engaging with senior leadership to gain buy-in and support for data management initiatives.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to data management, such as DGE (ADDA), DDL,NDMO,s GDPR, ISO 9001, or other industry-specific regulations.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, with the ability to interpret data and provide insights to drive decision-making.
