Field Operator
General Summary
To carry out the assigned area field activities as per the control room requirements and safe turn over of equipment for maintenance and maintain housekeeping and implement safety in the field. Monitoring the field equipments and take timely action to avoid breakdowns and delays.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Key Accountabilities)
- To set the field equipment, valve positions as required for the process and advised by control room.
- Safe turn over of equipment for maintenance.
- To communicate with Senior Field Operator / shift supervisor on any deviations and guidance
- Familiarize with shutdown and start up procedures and emergency handling procedures for safe operation of the plant
- Fill field log sheets and keep track of deviations in the parameters.
- To maintain the house keeping in the area
- To follow MSDS and safety procedures and contribute to zero LTI

- Experience of operating large DRI / Petrochemical/ Fertilizer Plants
- Good Analytical skills
- Communication skills
- Plant Safety
- Knowledge on understanding of P&ID’s
