Manager Corporate Performance & Development
General Summary
In line with ESA Mission, Vision & Strategic Goals, to device & implement objectives to sustain Organizational Excellence & Resilience in all ESA Organizational Units.
To achieve the above Goal, the holder of this job will define, guide, and drive the organizations performance and operational excellence initiatives. Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the performance management framework of the organization. The role will involve defining key performance indicators (KPIs), monitoring performance, analyzing data, designing and refining the business operating model, business process mapping and providing insights and recommendations to enhance overall performance and achieve organizational goals, business excellence strategy and plan, business excellence program, identify driving factors of innovation, participate in innovation awards programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Key Accountabilities)

Develop and implement a comprehensive performance measurement framework that includes relevant KPIs aligned with the organization's strategic objectives.

Establish mechanisms to track and monitor performance against set targets and benchmarks. Regularly collect and analyze data from various sources to assess progress and identify areas for improvement.

Analyze performance data, identify trends, patterns, and correlations, and provide insights and recommendations to senior management for informed decision-making.

Present performance reports, dashboards, and scorecards to communicate performance results to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Ensure that reports are accurate, timely, and actionable.

Design and refine business operating model, collaborating with senior leadership, optimizing processes, communicating vision, and enhancing performance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify performance gaps and develop initiatives and action plans to address them. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of these initiatives to drive continuous improvement.

Work closely with senior management to establish performance goals and targets that are aligned with the organization's strategic direction. Cascade goals throughout the organization and ensure alignment at all levels.

Facilitate performance reviews and discussions with department heads, managers, and individual employees to assess performance, provide feedback, and identify development opportunities.

Promote a performance-driven culture within the organization by enhancing employee awareness, understanding, and adoption of performance management practices
Additional Duties and Responsibilities

Enhance performance management by implementing advanced software, tools, methodologies, and technology solutions to streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting processes

Ensure Corporate objectives are embedded into the individual KPIs for various management members for respective year.

Evaluate/identify opportunities and managing the participation in relative Excellence awards (i.e. SKEA, Steelie Awards, etc.)

As and when required by CEO, EXCO.

Experience in performance management, business analysis, or a related role.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey performance information to diverse audiences.

Proficiency in data analysis tools by using business intelligence software, and performance management systems.

Strong knowledge of performance measurement methodologies, frameworks, and industry standards.

Consolidate Functions annual business plan and expected deliverables for each division to track completion of tasks or initiatives and ensuring operational efficiency

Track financial metrics such as profit, revenue, cash flow to measure financial performance

Collaborating, optimizing and enhancing performance of business operating model and business process with senior leadership.

Conduct detailed diagnostic to estimate what drives innovation, ESA current standing and identify primary issues leading to gap to future state

Oversee business processes, mapping ESA value chain, identifying gaps, communicating with PMO, developing KPIs, guiding functions, defining actions, and creating corrective plans

Develop policy briefs on innovation-related topics, participating in excellence and innovation awards programs, and monitoring and analyzing these topics to track key indicators.

Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with stakeholders across departments.
