General Summary

The Wellbeing Senior Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive wellbeing programs aimed at enhancing the physical, mental, and emotional health of employees in EMSteel. This role ensures that wellbeing initiatives align with organizational goals, fostering a positive and productive work environment. The Wellbeing Senior Specialist will work closely with the People Excellence manager to create a culture of health and wellbeing within the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Program Development and Implementation:

  • Design and implement holistic wellbeing programs that address physical, mental, and emotional health needs of employees.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to employee wellbeing and safety.
  • Regularly assess and improve wellbeing programs based on employee feedback and industry best practices.

· Health and Wellness Initiatives

  • Coordinate health and wellness activities such as fitness programs, stress management workshops, and health screenings.
  • Collaborate with external wellness providers to deliver comprehensive health services and programs.
  • Promote and manage employee assistance programs (EAP) and mental health resources.

· Employee Engagement and Communication

  • Develop and execute communication strategies to promote wellbeing initiatives and encourage employee participation.
  • Organize wellbeing events and activities to engage employees and foster a supportive community.
  • Conduct surveys and focus groups to gather feedback on wellbeing programs and identify areas for improvement.

Training and Development  Avail training and resources to managers and employees on wellbeing topics, including stress management, work-life balance, and healthy living.  Develop and deliver wellbeing workshops and seminars tailored to the needs of different employee groups.  Data Analysis and Reporting  Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of wellbeing programs through data collection and analysis.  Prepare reports on wellbeing program outcomes and present findings to the People Excellence Manager and senior management if needed.  Use data insights to drive continuous improvement in wellbeing initiatives.  Compliance and Safety  Ensure all wellbeing programs comply with relevant health and safety regulations.  Work with the health and safety team to integrate wellbeing strategies into the overall safety program of the organization.  Stay updated on legal requirements and industry standards related to workplace wellbeing and safety.  Budget Management  Manage the budget for wellbeing programs and initiatives.  Identify cost-effective solutions and optimize resource allocation for maximum impact.  Collaboration and Stakeholder Management  Work closely with People Department, health and safety, and other relevant departments to align wellbeing initiatives with organizational objectives.  Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the delivery of wellbeing programs.  Serve as a wellbeing advocate within the organization, promoting the benefits of a healthy workplace culture..

Minimum Education Qualification (Education Degree)

Bachelor in Degree

Any preferred professional training

Professional Experience (Must haves)

Minimum of 8+ years of experience in a similar role
