Senior analyst- Corporate PMO

General Summary

The Senior Analyst – Group PMO will play a critical role in establishing and driving the Group PMO, ensuring strategic initiatives are effectively managed, tracked, and aligned with corporate objectives. This role will focus on project governance, performance tracking, reporting, and process optimization across the organization’s transformation initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Key Accountabilities)

  • Project & Portfolio Management: Support the setup, governance, and execution of the Group PMO, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and business impact.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Develop KPIs, dashboards, and reports to monitor project progress, financial impact, and alignment with P&L objectives.
  • Process Optimization & Automation: Implement best practices, streamline workflows, and leverage digital tools to enhance project efficiency and governance.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Collaborate with leadership, workstream sponsors, and cross-functional teams to drive execution and ensure transparency.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks, dependencies, and roadblocks, ensuring timely mitigation and escalation.
  • Change Management Support: Assist in driving adoption of new processes, tools, and methodologies across the organization.
  • Training & Knowledge Sharing: Support capacity building by developing PMO frameworks, templates, and training materials for project teams.
  • Ad-hoc Strategic Support: Provide analytical and project management support for executive initiatives and transformation programs as needed.

Minimum Education Qualifications (Must Haves)

Preferred professional training (Nice to have)

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

 

 

Professional Experience (Must Haves)

Experience Recommended (Nice to have)

  • Experience in a steel plant environment
  • Min 5+ years in project management

 

 

  • Experience leading strategic initiatives in industrial environments.

  • Project Execution & Delivery: Percentage of initiatives delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Process Efficiency & Compliance: Adoption rate of PMO methodologies, standardized reporting, and governance adherence.
  • Stakeholder Satisfaction: Feedback from leadership, workstream leads, and cross-functional teams on PMO effectiveness and support.
