Crusher Operator
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Key Accountabilities)
- Sets direction for his team by formulating objectives based on the department’s objectives.
- Prepares and manages the crusher, stacker and reclaimer operating and capital budget.
- Develops and provides on-the-job s coaching to staff to acquire additional competencies and motivates them to be excellent performers.
- Organizes work to ensure that all staff are optimally utilized.
- Monitors and evaluates performance of direct staff and corrective actions are implemented when necessary.
- Manages the implementation of the approved crusher budget.
- Implements approved company policies, guidelines and procedures.
- Supervises and controls the activities of the operation cycle stated in the basic function.
- Ensures that is calibrated stone crusher and marl crusher when required to verify the accuracy of the weight feeder and vehicles.
- Responsible for meeting the limestone production target as required by production department.
- Coordinates closely with supply chain manager for the required heavy equipment.
- Ensures that mining activities are carried out within the framework of statutory and legal requirements.
- Ensures the conservation of natural resources.
- Ensures that all safety rules and regulation are followed within the entire operation of Crusher.
- Performs all related SAP/GP systems requirements processes.
- Submit daily reports on the status of daily breakdowns in the crushers, stackers and reclaimers and the reasons for stoppage.
- Reviews daily Quarry production report and recommend ways of improvement.
- Reviews daily Crushers production report and recommend ways of improvement.
- Housekeeping in areas of responsibility.
