- Equipment Operation: Assist CCR Operators in Operating various equipment and machinery in the cement plant, including reclaimers, crushers, mills, kilns, and packing systems, according to standard operating procedures.
- Equipment Monitoring: Monitor equipment performance, process parameters, and production outputs to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular checks and inspections to ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications, including monitoring material composition and product fineness.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for themselves and their colleagues.
- Maintenance Support: Assist maintenance teams in performing routine maintenance tasks, equipment inspections, and repairs as needed to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Material Handling: Handle raw materials, intermediates, and finished products safely and efficiently, including loading and unloading materials, operating conveyors, and managing stockpiles.
- Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas, including cleaning equipment, removing debris, and ensuring proper storage of materials.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergencies, equipment failures, and safety incidents, following established procedures and protocols to mitigate risks and minimize disruptions to production.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with CCR operators, supervisors, maintenance personnel, and other team members to report operational status, issues, and concerns.
- Training and Development: Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge and skills related to equipment operation, safety procedures, and plant operations.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of equipment operation (check lists), production data, maintenance activities, and safety incidents as required for reporting and documentation purposes.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost reduction initiatives, and provide feedback and suggestions for improvement to supervisors and management.
- Supervising Refractory and Maintenance Jobs During Shutdown:
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to supervise refractory installations, repairs, and other maintenance activities during plant shutdowns.
- Ensure that maintenance work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established procedures and timelines.
- Monitor progress of maintenance tasks, provide guidance to maintenance personnel, and address any issues or challenges that arise.
- Assist maintenance personnel in conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on plant equipment.
- Report equipment malfunctions or abnormalities promptly to maintenance for troubleshooting and repair.
