Accountabilities & Activities

Key Activities

1. Sales

  • Review PI annexures with guidance from your manager and respond within 2 days.
  • Update daily Sales report for upcoming export cargo.
  • Communicate vessel loading and voyage status to customers.
  • Respond to customer inquiries after manager approval.
  • Report any port productivity issues to Sales.

2. Shipping Procurement

  • Share required details for vessel chartering.
  • Ensure timely communication with agents for packing list and vessel nomination.
  • Escalate disputes to your manager.

3. Logistics Planning

  • Coordinate on cargo readiness, vessel laycan, loading projections, and invoicing updates.

4. Production Planning

  • Confirm production progress and report any delays.

5. Dispatch Team

  • Ensure cargo dispatch to port before vessel arrival.
  • Share stowage plan and coordinate equipment reservations to avoid delays.

6. Port Contractors

  • Confirm availability of port surveyors, agents, and vessel port captain.

7. External Agent

  • Communicate for timely receipt of packing list and vessel nomination.

8. Finance

  • Ensure freight memo approval within 1 day of vessel sailing.
  • Support laytime calculations and invoice reconciliation within deadlines.
  • Escalate disputes to your manager.

9. Inbound Cargo

Collect all required documents (COO, B/L, packing list, invoice, HS code, origin) after PO finalization.

10. Reporting

  • Send daily vessel status report via common email.
  • Update customers regularly on vessel ETA.

 

Safety, Quality & Environment

  • Ensure compliance to all relevant management policies, procedures, and controls within the Commercial Division of ESA to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.

 

Qualifications/Experience

Minimum Qualification

(Educational Qualifications, Trainings, or Certifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) APICS

 

Professional Experience

  • 02 years of experience in supply chain, shipping, or logistics operations
