General Summary

Ensure the coordination of data for the materials related to internal shifting activities are recorded and report to concern departments. Weighment Slips are generated and records maintained for information references for all ESA

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

SAP Integration & Data Records:- • Ensure the incoming & outgoing materials are prepared through SAP System. • To provide guidance of material movements to SMP/DRP operations for inter-shifting materials reports on daily basis Maintaining Deliveries:- • Ensure efficient weighbridge operation, reading & data entry of materials weight is factual and correct for internal material movement. • Verify & confirm the weighment slip issued by the end user correctly and accordingly perform the weighing operations. Facilitation & Coordination:- • Generate correct Weight Slip accompanied with Athe required supporting document prior to processing. • Ensure appropriate generation of reports and maintain transaction records for a retention period of 1 year. Discrepancy Reporting:- • Report immediately any weights/material discrepancies or any doubtful result. • Report any abnormality occurs in SAP System, Computers & printing machine with concerned department. Verification of everyday data and records for accuracies of data against purchase orders, sales order etc

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities required

High Level of Communication face to face or on telephone • Knowledge of weighing systems, estimation of weight, accounting etc. • Knowledge of transport logistics • Familiarity and importance of different verities of major incoming and outgoing material in steel industry. • Basic numeracy skills for receiving & recording payments for goods • Ability to maintain accurate records • Experienced in working in computerized work environment and interpretation of purchase orders, sales orders, unit of measurements etc. • Ability to use SAP system & MS Office and generate MIS reports.

Minimum Education Qualification (Education Degree)

Any preferred professional training

Diploma courses in logistics/ accounting • SAP & Inventory management

Professional Experience (Must haves)

3 Years in Heavy Industries in weighbridge operations/ data feeding

Least Errors in weighment ▪ Minimize weighbridge operational interruption due to inadequacies in maintenance of weighbridge ▪ Orderly maintenance and traceability of records and data. ▪ Ensure regulation validation of weighbridge ▪ Ensure no material is received and dispatched without appropriate verification and generation of appropriate documents.
