General Summary
The Manager Learning Academy is responsible for the learning needs analysis, design, development, delivery and administration of the company’s technical development and career development processes, as well as assist in facilitating efficient quality training and succession planning for talented employees.
The Manager Learning Academy is also responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive professional development and work-related training programs in most reliable and cost-effective manner to achieve both short term and long-term corporate objectives which provides employees with the skills necessary to perform their duties effectively, improves organizational effectiveness and productivity, and which creates an environment that promotes professional growth and will manage the training facilities

- To develop a comprehensive training and development strategy and programme for the company in order to maintain and develop a motivated and skilled workforce.
Learning and Development
- Conduct a thorough LNA (Learning needs analysis) across the organization and identify skills and knowledge gaps aligned to business strategy and deliverables.
- Provide training plans, programs and intervention utilizing a blended learning approach in association with HC Manager, to develop and deliver appropriate and effective training, including collaboration and utilization of external providers.
- Prepare and gain approval for the accurate training budget as a basis for ensuring that adequate resources exist, to meet present and future identified training requirements.
- Identify and administers assessment tools to help supervisors and employees to prioritize training and development needs for the next rating period.
- Drive the implementation and consumption of digital learning content creation in-house and acquired externally.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities(Contd)
- Continually investigate and implement innovative and creative training solutions, materials, methods, and programs to meet the development needs of the company.
- Coach and train subordinates to ensure that tasks are completed on time.
- Designed and conduct MLI (measure of learning impact) for all learning solutions.
- Work closely with all departments in development, planning, presenting and evaluating training and development programs, and specific learning activities designed to enhance and support business performance
- Ensure all required compliance training and reporting activities occur within required timeframes.
- Ensures the implementation of operational policies covering all areas of training and career development section so that all relevant procedural / legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a cost –effective service to the company.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
Training Facility Management
- Manage the Technical Learning Facilities to highest optimisation
- Ensure compliance with HSSE requirements
- Maintain Technical Training equipment and tools to agreed operational standards, upgrade and acquire relevant machinery, tools and equipment in line with operational requirement and industry best practices
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify potential calibers for the scholarship program.
- Develop and implement induction and orientation programs for newly joined employees in collaboration with Talent Acquisition section.
- Provide coaching, guidance and mentoring as required to enhance the internal capabilities of the team and ensure the achievement of established objectives and plans.
- Carry out performance appraisals for subordinates according to planned schedules and recommend necessary actions as per the applied practices.
- Ensure coordination with other departments to facilitate the accomplishment of tasks and responsibilities, as and when needed.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by Line Manager
Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities required
- Leaning needs analysis and skills gaps identification
- LMS management
- Facilitation of training solutions including game-based, simulations and classroom
- Training solution creation and instructional design
- Digital learning design, drive, management
- Strong training administration skills and strong supervisory skills
- Good communication and leadership skills is a must
- Ability to work across diverse cultures and styles at all levels of the organization, to cultivate and maintain strong relationships in building consensus and support.
- Project management skills, successful teaming with colleagues, and a strong results orientation.
- Excellent IT skills
Minimum Education Qualification (Education Degree)
Any preferred professional training
Master’s Degree in related field is an advantage |

Professional Experience (Must haves)
Total years of experience 12-15 years.
5 – 7 Years of experience in leading L&D.
Previous Experience/exposure Recommendations
Industrial organization experience is an advantage
Key Performance Indicators
Meet short term and long-term targets for company in regard to Training & Career Development. • Establish training and career development monitoring & tracking system. • Ensure proper budgeting for the departments. • Provide MIS report on the training progress and measure of learning impact • Review and Recommend improvement to ensure the quality and adherence to policies and procedures. • Implement agreed training and development program • Recommend or propose budget control and assessment on the ROI of the training and development programme. • Oversees training materials in the form of manuals / presentations / learning plans / e-learning and the maintenance thereof. • Evaluate and recommend training and development programmes within the company • To develop and implement Orientation/Induction program for all new joiners. • To organize and develop Individual Development Plan for UAE Nationals.
