General Summary
The Senior Specialist- Talent Learning is responsible for identifying and creating learning solutions that increase the employees’ capability and organizational knowledge. Also, Analyzing training requests and designing, validating, delivering, and evaluating learning programs incorporating digital and blended approach. Contribute to the planning, design, communication, implementation and ongoing delivery of talent learning programs and initiatives in line with company’s business strategy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Key Accountabilities)
- To develop a comprehensive training and development solutions and programme for the company in order to maintain a motivated and skilled workforce.
Learning and Development
- Conduct a thorough LNA (Learning needs analysis) across the organization and identify skills and knowledge gaps aligned to business strategy and deliverables.
- Develop and ensure the implementation of learning policies, procedures and processes as appropriate.
- Deliver learning objectives based on company requirements and sound experience. Provide training plans, programs and intervention utilizing a blended learning approach in association with People Manager, to develop and deliver appropriate and effective training, including collaboration and utilization of external providers.
- Work closely with all departments in development, planning, presenting and evaluating training and development programs, and specific learning activities designed to enhance and support job competency, leadership, performance management, teambuilding, communication, employment law, diversity, and customer service.
- Amend programs as necessary to adapt to changes that affect the work environment.
- Drive the implementation and consumption of digital learning content creation in-house and acquired externally.
- Design and conduct MLI (measure of learning impact) for all learning solutions and develop reporting frameworks.
- Recommend the effectiveness of learning transfer and deliver solutions that drive organizational and individual excellence.
- Track, input and maintain training records in the company’s learning management system, ensuring company’s compliance standards.
- Ensure all required compliance training and reporting activities occur within required timeframes.
- Continually investigate and implement innovative and creative training solutions, materials, methods, and programs to meet the development needs of the company.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
- Recommend incentive and recognition plans to boost morale of the trainees and sponsored students.
- Provide coaching, guidance and mentoring as required to enhance the internal capabilities of the team and ensure the achievement of established objectives and plans.
- Develop and implement induction and orientation programs for newly joined employees in collaboration with Talent Acquisition section.
- Ensure coordination with other departments to facilitate the accomplishment of tasks and responsibilities, as and when needed.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by Line Manager
