Specialist- Procurement Excellence

Role Purpose

Responsible for supporting the analytical requirements of the Procurement team which largely include spend analysis, savings quantification, business process mapping, value chain mapping, total cost modeling and various stakeholder reports and insights as well as KPI tracking and reporting.

 

Accountabilities & Activities

Key Activities

  1. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Co-partner with procurement manager to drive procurement KPI; (spend analysis, saving tracking, process improvement. etc.) periodic reporting and fulfillment.
  • Work closely with respective category team by provide information and analysis as required to enable meeting targets for the team.
  • Facilitating and submitting Procurement Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for reporting.
  • Identify sourcing opportunities via spend analysis, stakeholder interviews, market trends, previous experience or learning about previous experiences of colleagues
  • Proactively supports and challenge Procurement managers in profiling categories, reviewing spend, summarizing initiatives and generally producing insightful procurement reports and analysis.
  • Ensure tracking business results are maintain and results are communicated/summarized to Internal Networks/Key Relationship.
  • Provide timely insights into spend information from a variety of sources. Report out spend insights monthly to respective stakeholders.
  • Manage implementation project plans and objectives to ensure commitments are met by monitoring, assessing, and reporting variances in budget, timing, or quality of work
  • Perform internal customer satisfaction analysis through surveys and assist Procurement management in establishing effective customer feedback loops
  • Maintain the Procurement function documentation library (templates, policies, and procedures)

  • Any additional duties/ task requested by the line manager.

 

 

  1. Ensure Safety and Regulatory Compliance:
  • Support the promotion of a strong safety culture by actively participating in safety initiatives and fostering safe work practices. Assist in managing safety risks, monitoring equipment, and contributing to performance outcomes. Ensure compliance with EHS legislative requirements and the Company’s EHS policies, procedures, and standards among team members and contractors.

 

Qualifications/Experience

Minimum Qualification

(Educational Qualifications, Trainings, or Certifications)

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business /Procurement/ logistics from a recognized university

 

Professional Experience

  • 5+ years' experience in excellence and process improvement role preferably Procurement function in large corporate organizations

Language(s) Known

  • Arabic (Essential/Preferred)
  • English (Essential)
