Technical Lead- PM & Asset

General Summary

This position has primary responsibility for business process understanding comprehensively, defining of scope for the implementation, Designing, Configuration, monitoring Support life Cycle and providing solutions within their specified area of Plant Asset Management.  SAP Plant Maintenance Modules in SAP ECC and S/4 HANA. Provide continuous support to Maintain interface with Level-2 and Level-3 systems and provide support to end users.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Key Accountabilities)

• Configure SAP PLANT MAINTENANCE module as required by the business in SAP ECC and S/4 HANA.
• Maintain a standardized Best Practice Approach and ensure Business Process reliability and efficiency

·         Identify new requirements, create functional specification documents and liaise with ABAP developers to develop the needed programs for process improvements /enhancements.

·         Develop FIORI based Applications where integration is needed.

·         Provide training to new users / end users and prepare end user training manuals.

·         Automate processes which are repetitive in nature to minimize manual action, thereby reducing error.

·         Maintain Sync with OT Systems where needed for data consistency.

·         Periodic review of PM role authorization management for Audit purposes

·         Assist Process Engineers, Planners, and other users for transaction related errors.

·         Analyze, investigate, and resolve any errors observed in the custom programs.

·         Generate, develop and Maintain MIS reports as needed by business.

·         Provide necessary support for system upgrades / system conversions.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

·         Implement custom solutions to meet business requirements.

·         Support and monitor third party applications and tools.

·         Knowledge if maintaining Change Requests with SOLMAN and other related tools necessary.

·         Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time.

·         Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others

·         Must be results oriented, and demonstrate a ‘Can-Do’ attitude – adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness
