General Summary

Perform the maintenance activities of EOT Crane / Jib Crane in order to achieve the assigned targets such as minimize crane down time and increase the plant availability & consumption of spares with cost consciousness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Key Accountabilities)

Implement Production Optimization:

•  To execute all scheduled (day-to-day, preventive) maintenance, corrective maintenance and major repairs of the equipment’s in order to optimize production & minimize  Material Handling down time for maintenance related development works

Facilitate Corrective Action:

•  Responsible for trouble shooting during breakdowns of mechanical equipment’s and provide the assistance to find out the root cause for corrective action maintenance related development works

Prevent System Abnormalities:

•  Responsible for attending mechanical maintenance problems during breakdowns in the Material Handling. To communicate to superiors of any abnormalities found in the mill in order to plan & rectify the same.

Meet Engineering/ Safety Principles:

•  Inspection of equipment’s to meet engineering principles and safety regulations in maintenance related development works.

Assistance & Support:

•  To assist and help the Superiors in all technical areas to ensure smooth maintenance of the  Material Handling for uninterrupted production and co-ordination with other departments.

Following Standards:

• Follow mechanical maintenance standards for all equipment in the Material Handling.

Observe Health, Safety and Environmental practices:

• To follow all relevant safety, quality, health and environmental management policies, procedures applicable to maintenance related development.

• Technical knowledge of predictive & preventive maintenance of EOT Crane / Jib Crane.
• Knowledge & Skill of Trouble Shooting of EOT Crane / Jib Crane.
• Understanding of engineering drawings and Hydraulic circuits.
• Works with hand tools, measuring tools, portable tools and tackles.
• Fluency in spoken and written English language.

Minimum Education Qualifications (Must Haves)      Any preferred professional training (Nice to have)
