Role Purpose

Implement, coordinate and review quality systems with the overall objective of ensuring conformance to quality standards.

Accountabilities & Activities

Key Activities

1. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Select a representative (in quantity and in quality) part of the sample to be tested using approved methods.
• Preparing and Analysing of Raw Meal & Raw-materials Cement &  samples by XRF, Recording, interpreting and changing values according to Targets.
• Responsible for maintaining quality-assurance processes, testing products and recording and analysing results data.
• Follow through on set processes and ensure adherence to best production practices and product quality standards.
• Monitor the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of product output.
• Monitor the quality of laboratory solutions and chemical reagents (visual deterioration, expiry date, etc.)
• Provide support to Ops team to meet & sustain client targets by providing accurate & timely analysis.
• Ensuring key issues related to process is reported & corrective action are taken from client side.
• Record number of defectives and informs department Manager when percentage of defective exceed limit.
• Inspect product to determine compliance with order specifications, company's quality control system.
• Perform simple calibration as per calibration plan and inform superior if calibration results are questionable.
• Recognize and respond to emergencies, report them to authorized persons. Communicate clearly information relating to p to potentially dangerous situations and get confirmation that they are correctly understood. 
• Perform any other related duties or as required.

Qualifications/Experience

Minimum Qualification

(Educational Qualifications, Trainings, or Certifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry/ (Science)

Professional Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Cement manufacturing industry.

Language(s) Known

• English (Essential) / Arabic
