General Summary |

The EMSTEEL Condition Monitoring Technician is accountable to carry out condition monitoring services on all rotating equipment on a day-to-day basis, as identified within the condition monitoring program. This involves the application of a wide range of monitoring techniques including vibration monitoring, lube oil analysis, thermograph measurements and machinery performance monitoring. Types of equipment include electrical motors, gear boxes, centrifugal pumps, steam turbines, centrifugal compressors, fans & blowers, turbo-expanders and fan coolers. Carries out predictive maintenance, vibration monitoring and analysis and provide information and basic recommendation for corrective action, as and when required |
